About us
Here at Bissick Old Mill our aim is to make your stay, whether for business or pleasure, long stay or short, as pleasant and as memorable as possible. We believe it is the little things that count, from the bottle of Cornish mineral water, fresh fruit and flowers in your room to the late check out facility or luggage storage while you make the most of your last day with us.
Log fires are lit at the weekend (or upon request) in the winter and a selection of OS maps, DVDs, videos and books (including numerous volumes on Cornwall) and CD's are available for guests to borrow during their stay. Breakfast at the Mill is a serious affair and our menu is extensive. Whether you choose to eat in the slate flagged dining room or in the courtyard just through the french doors, either is a lovely setting for that all important first meal of the day. On Sunday mornings you can hear the church bells ringing from nearby St Ladoca's.
Choose from a wide range of hot and cold dishes from a full cornish (or full veggie) breakfast to homemade muesli or from organic yoghurt to a fluffy omelette all of which is accompanied by hot toast, homemade banana nut bread or warm croissants with locally made jams or chunky marmalade. Needless to add that we use the freshest, locally sourced produce, organic where possible. Add a cafetiere of coffee or a pot of English Breakfast and you have the perfect start to your day!
